Eviction Filed Over Back Rent at Eejay's in Aiken Mall
Aiken County magistrate court documents show Eejay's owes 44492.79 in rent with nearly 40000 still unpaid after vacating the space in Kalmia Mall. Ziff Properties Inc. leasing director Tim Norton says the 5200 square foot site is now empty and likely to become office space. Elvin Jones opened Eejay's in 1978. he died in 2010.
