US expands probe into air bag failures to 12.3M vehicles
The NHTSA broadens an investigation to 12.3 million vehicles from 2010 to 2019 model years using 2F-TRW airbag control units. Toyota, Honda, Kia, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and Fiat Chrysler are affected. failures could disable airbags and have been linked to up to eight deaths.
