Aiken City Manager discrimination probe ends with insufficient evidence
A state level probe into claims by Michelle Shepherd Jones that Stuart Bedenbaugh and John Klimm discriminated against her found no solid proof of violations of anti discrimination laws. The U S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission later dismissed the case with a right to sue notice. Jones, former Public Works director, sued the city for damages and wrongful termination alleging a hostile work environment and retaliation.
