In softball, Aiken High used Rhonda Tyler’s two run eighth inning double to beat Orangeburg Wilkerson 6-5, Deanna Butler fanned 13 for the win, and Airport High edged South Aiken 2-0 in a Region 3-AAAA tilt as playoff seeds form. The Thoroughbreds also closed their regular season with a 5-0 win over Airport and eye playoff road games.
