IRA supporters recall 1916 rebellion across Ireland

Tens of thousands of IRA supporters gathered in cemeteries and towns nationwide to mark the 1916 uprising and discuss Northern Ireland peace duties. Sinn Fein linked leaders urged patience as a future IRA statement, seen in private by Britain and Ireland, was deemed inadequate. The movement insists it should not be blamed for current deadlock over the 1988 peace accord while maintaining a 1997 cease-fire amid ongoing activity since 1998.
