Tragic Windsor Tractor Accident Claims 3YearOld Miranda Clark
A Windsor girl Miranda Clark age 3 died after being run over by a tractor at her home on Wendy Lane. She fell from the tractor while riding with her father Randy Clark around 8 pm and sustained a major head injury. Air Med II transported her to Doctors Hospital in Augusta where she was pronounced dead at 9:15 pm. Emergency crews and Windsor Volunteer Fire Department prepared a landing zone at Windsor Elementary School before the medical helicopter arrived.

Officials to recommend budget cuts for Aiken County schools
The Aiken County Board of Education will review three budget scenarios from Superintendent Dr Linda Eldridge Tuesday, each showing different combinations of reductions and tax increases. The district faces a $12.1 million revenue loss for 2003-2004 under the House proposal, prompting talk of reducing four administrative positions and possibly up to 40 teaching posts.
