City day trip registration opens for May shopping trip
The City of Aiken invites residents to join a May 6 day trip to the Village at Sandhill in Columbia. The cost is $10 per person for City bus transportation. lunch is not included. Register by April 30 at the H Odell Weeks Activities Center or Smith-Hazel Recreation Center.

The Aiken County Public School District will hold 5K kindergarten registration from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Children must be 5 by Sept 1 to enroll and register at zoned schools. Bring two proofs of residence, birth certificate, and immunization record. accepted documents include a rental agreement or tax receipt and a water or power bill.
