ATC to Host Be the Match Bone Marrow Registry Drive
Aiken Technical College will host a Be the Match registry event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday April 3 in the Student Activities Center. Sponsored by the ATC Student Nurses Association, the swab test invites public participation to join a donor registry for patients with sickle cell anemia blood cancers and other life threatening diseases. Donor chances after joining are about 1 in 430, ages 18 to 59 eligible, with 18 to 44 most likely to be contacted. For details visit bethematch.org.
