Two Savannah River Site veterans Mark Alexander and Alvin Padgett opened Palmetto Tire and Brake Center in January 2007 at 2355 Jefferson Davis Highway Warrenville. They shifted from tires and brakes to engine transmissions and full automotive repairs to meet demand.

Citi names Michael O'Neill new chairman of board
Citigroup named Michael O'Neill chairman of its board after the annual shareholders meeting in New York. He has served on Citi’s board since 2009 and replaces Richard Parsons whose departure was announced last month. O'Neill previously was Bank of America vice chairman and CFO from 1995 to 1999.
