Charleston students photograph Halley’s Comet from high flying observatory
Charleston AP reports a school project to photograph Halley’s Comet used a modified C-141 high altitude observatory over New Zealand after shuttle flights were suspended. Two cameras on the Kuiper observatory captured excellent images with NASA Ames support and USC Medical University staff overseeing.
