Fire Destroys North Augusta Golf and Country Club

The North Augusta Golf and Country Club, formerly North Augusta Country Club established in 1962, was largely damaged by fire that started near the clubhouse area. Owner Fred Layman and the ownership team vow to rebuild, reopen the course, and establish a temporary clubhouse while plans proceed.

Paws for Cancer and Fitness Challenge Schedule Adjusted

The Paws Paws for Cancer fundraiser begins at 8 p.m. and Sanford’s Family Fitness Challenge at 9 a.m. The events will start near the Price Avenue climbing wall with parking on Price Avenue and at the City of Aiken Ceramics Building.
