Ridge Spring Monetta Team Leads District Academic Meet
Ridge Spring Monetta Elementary Middle School hosted the District Academic Team Meet on February 27. The RSM team won all three matches and finished the year second in the district with a total score of 1,345, led by captain Miranda Middlebrooks and teammates Alicia Key Brumley Moneymaker and Andrew Moyer.

Police Blotter Reports Several Thefts and Missing Items
An Aiken woman reported a handgun missing from her father's vehicle during a Friday drive. Two Park Avenue cars were broken into on Friday with a purse containing an iPod, a VW key and other items stolen from one. another purse held an audio recorder and a stethoscope. A Beech Island woman said her car was broken into at Sandbar Ferry Road but nothing missing. TNT Fireworks on Augusta Road in Langley was broken into Saturday with several fireworks stolen. A Beech Island man reported a blue and white 1995 Ford van missing from Pine Log Place. A Langley man said a 3-month-old pit bull puppy was taken from Hill side Courtyard on Saturday.

Final USC Aiken chancellor finalist to present today
