Aiken man charged after drive through disturbance and threats
A 63 year old man allegedly caused a disturbance at the Administration and Finance Building driving through the drive through at high speed and failing to stop at a sign. He yelled obscenities and claimed women are trained to provoke men. No charges filed. A separate case: 42 year old Charles Cribbs detained for DUI after sleeping in a Wendy's drive through. Breathalyzer showed .16 BAC.

ATC to Host Career Fair With About 50 Employers
Aiken Technical College will host a community career fair on Wednesday from 11 30 a m to 2 p m at the Student Activities Center gym 900 Building. Nearly 50 area employers across fields will attend. Attendees should bring resumes references and work histories. Kathryn Fowler is the contact for details. The Aiken County Board of Education will receive a tentative 2014 15 budget May 13 and vote June 24. Aiken High School state champions will be recognize at the board meeting. Administrative appointments will be announced after a closed session.
