Dr Thomas Frist remembers the 17 year old moment that led to Hospital Corporation of America. He helped found HCA in 1968 with two partners during the Masters golf tournament at Augusta National. Frist, 74, now serves as chief medical officer and chairman of HCA’s Board of Governors.
