Judge Withdraws From Re election Amid Health and Probe

Columbia AP reports Judge Klyde Robinson of the 9th Circuit withdraws from reelection after two months of scrutiny and hospitalization for heart disease. He cited health reasons in a brief letter to Lt. Gov. Nancy Stevenson. The case follows his admission of receiving an illegal slot machine from ex sheriff James W. Rogers who later pled guilty to racketeering.
