Humes outlines growth plans for Midland Valley area

Economic Development Director Fred Humes spoke to the Midland Valley Chamber of Commerce on growth in the county. He highlighted Sage Mill Industrial Park with over 750 million in capital investment, 3 million square feet of space, and 1,300 jobs, plus a rail link to Norfolk Southern and 2,700 acres ready for development. He urged technical education to meet workforce needs and described steps for future programs and partnerships.

USCA to Present Spring Concert April 24 at Etherredge Center

University of South Carolina Aiken groups perform a spring concert Monday April 24 at 8 pm in the Etherredge Center on campus. Admission is 5 for adults and 3 for seniors and USCA faculty staff and students.
