William L. Good 44 a Jackson farmer and drugstore owner was sworn in today at the Aiken County Courthouse as District 2 Road Commissioner. He becomes the first Republican on the County Board of Commissioners in Aiken County history. The appointment follows a secretive swearing in at 10 a.m. and comes after a delegation majority recommended him to fill the vacancy created when Commissioner Mackey Scott became county supervisor.
