City set to raise water and sewer rates through 2024
City documents and Finance Director Kim Abney outline annual 2 percent increases for water and sewer through fiscal year 2024. Interim City Manager Stuart Bedenbaugh cites necessity as reason for the hikes while noting the $50 million regional treatment plant upgrade contributes to higher costs. The city will pay just over $1 million annually for renovations with nine percent of the sewer rise tied to the upgrade.
