High court to hear Savannah dredging dispute
The South Carolina Supreme Court will hear a dispute over a 600 million dollar Savannah River shipping channel deepening permit. The case argues DHEC overstepped authority by approving water quality certification after lawmakers set dredging oversight with the Savannah River Maritime Commission.
