Aiken County Eyes 105000 To Fund Body Cameras
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office seeks about 105000 to fund 136 body cameras with server expansion and microphones as part of the 2015 16 budget. County Administrator Clay Killian notes the budget has grown since 2011 12 to about 12 million and that sheriff Michael Hunt keeps pace with salary and equipment needs while cities push similar programs and legislators push body camera bills.
