Artists, crowds drawn to downtown Aiken
In downtown Aiken on Tuesday, artists mingled with crowds during the Horses and Courses Art Walk. Louise Mellon explained painting outdoors, selling prints of dogs cats and horses while adding an original pencil drawing to each piece. Nearby Gretchen Hash-Heffner, at Aiken Art Haus, painted a giraffe as she emphasized her interest in endangered animals.
