Fire devastates Siberian village school killing 22
A fire at a wooden two story school in Sydybal Yakutia, Russia, killed 21 students aged 11 to 18 and a teacher. Ten students were hospitalized with burns and broken bones after leaping from windows as flames spread. President Putin called it a major calamity and ordered federal aid to the victims’ families.
