SRNL chosen to train future robotics engineers in a five year program
The Savannah River National Laboratory will lead a five year cooperative effort with Carnegie Mellon University and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to train graduate students in robotics for environmental remediation. The program links real world problems with academia to develop the next generation of robotics engineers. SRNL aims to become a leading robotics lab for DOE cleanup projects.

Warrenville hit-and-run victim dies. Coroner names Michael A. Clark
Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton identified 32 year old Michael A. Clark as the man killed in the March 26 hit-and-run on Howlandville Road. Clark died at 5:35 a.m. Saturday in Augusta University's Shock Trauma Department after being struck by 35 year old Tessa Key of Aiken. Key, driving a 2014 Chevy Tahoe, left the shoulder and struck the pedestrian at about 7:38 p.m. and then fled.

A North Augusta woman reported credit card fraud while a Langley woman said her vehicle tire was sabotaged by nails hidden under wood from a fence. An arrest for assault followed. Graniteville man reported being pushed struck with a chair and choked by a known subject after finding him intoxicated on arrival home.
