The Blue Jeans and Black Tie Gala at Sage Valley Hunt Club on April 17 raises funds for the Aiken County Child Advocacy Center. Dr. Bob Alexander notes the center offers a child friendly, onestop facility with remote witness capability and weekly case discussions to aid abused children.
A monthly bluegrass event at the parkway in front of Vintage Music on Park Avenue draws up to around 100 participants.
