Aiken Department of Public Safety officers saved five black puppies found in a garbage bag on Wrights Mill Road. A 43 year old man told police the bag moved as he drove home and that he then found the puppies. Three remained with an area shelter after two were taken in by neighbors.

Arrests include a 39-year-old for false information a 22-year-old for purse theft a 23-year-old for assault a 32-year-old for domestic violence and a 36-year-old for assault and battery. additional reports note suspected home intrusions and stolen chainsaws.

Kyle Pratt, 17, charged by Lexington County Sheriff with seven counts of attempted murder three counts of discharging a firearm into a vehicle one count possession of a stolen pistol and one count possession of a firearm during a violent crime will remain jailed after bond was denied.
