Special Olympics Draws 600 Plus to Aiken High

At Hagood Stadium students from Aiken Edgefield and Saluda Counties competed in the annual Special Olympics event. Participants aged from elementary to elderly entered at least two events from tennis ball throw to 100 meter dash. Bus wreck leaves North Carolina students unhurt

Middle school travelers from Leavelle McCampbell and Langley-Bath-Clearwater were not seriously harmed after a four bus caravan to Washington D C collided with a tractor trailer near Smithfield North Carolina.
