Aiken Hospital Adopts Male Auxilians in Visitor Control
At Aiken Community Hospital the volunteer corps formerly known as pink ladies now includes about 35 men. They staff the visitor control desk, issue passes, explain the two visitor rule, and assist emergencies. Hospital leaders praise improved patient atmosphere and reduced hall congestion while maintaining patient care and confidentiality.
