Volunteers Needed for Mothers March in Aiken
Volunteers are sought to join the Mothers March for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation in Aiken. The march, led by Marsha Ashbaugh, will be held Sunday January 29. Nancy Thurmond serves as honorary chair, urging ongoing community support to reduce infant death and disability. A volunteer coffee is set for January 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. at 124 Burkwood Place, with kit distribution and meetings with Thurmond and local leaders.
