Indianapolis reports Indiana Farm Bureau Federation plans a Victory Week May 19 to 24 to recruit growers for a cooperative wheat pool. With 7 million bushels signed toward an 11 million target, 5 000 farmers will form a state committee urging nonparticipating producers to join.

Mrs. Nettie Idelle Clay, 52, took her life with a knife at her parents' Yorktown home after visiting relatives in Boone county. The inquest was led by Coroner Rainey. Born in Boone county, she married Arthur E. Clay in 1891 and had no children. A prominent local figure, she led the Woman's Club and church mission work. Funeral held at Central Christian church in Lebanon, burial at Oak Hill cemetery.

William O. Pratt named administrator of Vesey O. Pratt's estate filed after his death April 30 without a will. Personal property valued at $15,000 and real estate at $19,200. Bond set at $30,000 with Pratt heirs James A. May E. Jesse H. and Orville M. as sureties. Surviving heirs include widow Mary E. Pratt and eleven children.
