Local residents visited relatives in various towns and townspeople engaged in sales and services. Notables include Miss Merril Zimmerman recovering from an overwork related lapse, Mary Ailes learning of her daughter's illness, and a fire in Zionsville causing extensive damage to several structures. The period also mentions fishing plans, farm equipment sales, and travel to Indianapolis and Wisconsin.

Beginning Sunday Juvela introduces a new wage scale for trainmen on the Northwestern division of the T. H. & E. Railway. Attendance at Sustipy School last Sunday was 138 with collection $4.35 and 23 Bibles. Sunday School is every Sunday at 10 o'clock. Preaching service occurs every second and fourth Sunday morning and evening. The notice urges strong church participation and timely arrival next Sunday.

Misses Rose Pauline Edith Davis and Milford Fulwider dine with Merrit and Mrs Merrit McClaine.
The county report covers 61 schools 43 cradle rolls and 947 babies enrolled with 10 teachers in training. It notes A M E schools Thorntown and Lebanon have no babies youngest ages eleven and four and no rolls. It lists 13 denominations and urges schools to prepare hand work for display at the county and state conventions.

Martin’s home Friday night. Funeral held Sunday at Dover Christian church. Lizzie Oliphant, staying with Ora Roark, returned to Jamestown. Gladys Kincaid, staying with Curt McClaine, returned home. John T. Jones, B L. Sumpter, and Ralph Jones attended the Roachdale horse show Saturday.

Sunday School attendance 79 and collection 1.79 dollars. Readings 184 chapters 53 bibles and 149.4 points. Children prepare for Sunday night concert with a fine program. Ora McDaniel editor of the Morristown Sun was re elected secretary treasurer of the Indiana Associated Weeklies. George Dewey of the Zionsville Times was chosen business manager of the Bulletin the association’s official organ.
Mrs. C. A. Brown dies at her Chesterton home around noon Wednesday after months with cancer. Short services will be held Friday at home, then the body will be moved to Lebanon Saturday for funeral at the Methodist church at one o clock conducted by Revs Robbins and Cash. A full obituary will appear next week.
A fragmentary financial record lists balances and expenses including May interest 40, hardware street oil, Rexford Shinn and John Logan labor entries, E H types, Tom Rohn, David Duncan, Joe Wall, Burrin Drug Co., Thorntown corporation, hardware co, total expense and cash on hand.
Members are informed that dues must be paid by Monday night June 30 to avoid delinquency. J. B. Beaver serves as Master of Finance.
A special memorial service last Sunday at Advance Christian Church honored deceased members with a sermon titled The Others That Have Labored by Brother Kelley. The church featured fern decorative arrangements and more than forty bouquets, with special choir music and high member appreciation.
