The Rev. Mr. Huston of Indianapolis who resigned as pastor in October to end the year has accepted a call to continue as pastor in 1925. A surprise dinner honored him, with songs and poems by the minister. Officers elected: Clerk Orville Taylor, treasurer Eli Brown, choristers Wayne Young and Huston, pianist Laura Utley, assistant Laura Mae Bennington.
Relatives and friends in Advance regret to learn of the illness that has befallen former businessman Thos R. Gregory of Ladoga. He was stricken with paralysis one day last week and is only slightly improved, with the right side temporarily affected.
Well known local figure Mrs Elmer VanArsdoll died recently after several years of cancer suffering. Friends express sorrow and recall her longtime friendships and community involvement.

Hoosier state parks are at their winter peak says Richard Lieber conservation director after a trip through Indiana reservations Turkey Run and Clifty Falls. He notes winter roads are smooth and scenic with Clifty Inn offering an all winter view from 400 feet above the river and Madison visible like a Swiss village. Lieber urges a weekend visit to these valleys for nature lovers to refresh from city life.
