Narrow Escape At Leba Non Crossing Hits Two Men
James Martin and Ulery Ulery narrowly escaped death when a westbound Big Four train struck their old mail wagon at the South East street crossing in Leba non. The wagon was dragged after the engine as Martin freed himself with help from the crew. The horse died shortly after the collision. both men suffered only slight injuries. Ulery is the Gadden elevator proprietor and James Martin is J. M. Martin’s son.
