Ralph Cunningham of Advance Murdered in Indianapolis Robbery
Ralph Cunningham, born February 23 1893 in Boone County Indiana, died February 12 1925 in Indianapolis after being struck with a pry bar during a robbery at his place of business. He leaves a wife Rutie Butler and four children Edith, Howard, Claire, and Mary Rosalyn, with parents from Mooresville and a brother in Indianapolis. Burial at Lebanon after funeral at the Christian Church. A reward fund of 500 was set at a mass meeting for the arrest and conviction of the slayer.

Body of Hisson Recovered From White River
Indianapolis, Feb. 18. The body of Charles Hisson, who drowned Saturday night while working on the Oliver bridge over White River, was recovered today in eight feet of water near the Indianapolis and Vincennes railroad bridge about five hundred feet from the fall site. It was retrieved with grappling hooks, brought to shore, and sent to the city morgue after Coroner Robinson viewed it. Frank Gallagher first saw the body. word reached Lebanon about 11 o'clock Wednesday morning. Roscoe Bratton of Bratton Bros undertakers went to Indianapolis to prepare the body for burial.

Reward Fund Placed for Slaying of Ralph Cunningham
A $500 reward was announced for the arrest and conviction of Ralph Cunningham's killer. Within minutes $200 was raised. Glen Waters of Advance Banks became trustee, with funds to stay at the bank for one year if the slayer remains at large. A committee including William Lane and Lora Mac Claine will draft resolutions to urge adding banditry provisions to the bank bandit law.

Death of Charles Martin at Advance home
Charles Martin died after weeks of suffering at his home north of Advance from a complication of diseases. Born July 13, 1875 in Vermillion County Illinois, he was the son of the late James and unknown mother. Survived by his wife formerly Fannie Wurtsbaugh, four children Mabel Howie Nora F Beulah Ralph, a brother W F Martin of Advance, and stepmother Mrs James H Martin. Jesse Cunningham resigns as St. Joseph Missouri librarian to take a public librarian post in Memphis Tennessee. During his tenure holdings rose from 81 900 to 110 000 volumes and borrowers increased from 15 000 to 22 000 with circulation nearly doubling from 240 000 to 450 000 in 1923 24. He led major building expansion and will head Cassitt Library. He and his wife with three children plan to move from 3107 Edmord Street.

Collins Buried in Rocky Cavern at Sand Cave
The body of Floyd Collins, famed underground explorer, was found sixty feet beneath the Sand Cave mouth near Glagow Kentucky after workers filled the rescue shaft. Funeral services were held near the cave with Rev H. Bicer officiating as mourners gathered on the hill.
