Appendicitis Cases Reported From Indiana Hospitals
Okla Proffitt, son of James Proffitt, from near Lebanon, was brought to Indianapolis for surgery. Fourteen year old Harold Caldwell, patient at Williams hospital, is in satisfactory condition after appendicitis surgery. Vint River, from near Fayette, had an operation at Methodist Hospital and stood the procedure well. he is brother of M P Riner at his bedside. Chas Canada went to Methodist Hospital Wednesday night for appendicitis surgery. his condition is serious. Mrs Austin Emmert is recovering from a severe attack of appendicitis.

Veterinarian Kicked in Head by Horse Near Jamestown
Dr William Connor, a veterinarian attending a sick horse owned by Frank Ross near Jamestown, was kicked on the head during the procedure and lost consciousness. He remained unconscious for over two hours but recovered enough to return home in Jamestown and is expected to be fine in a few days.

Death of James Walker Near Advance
James Walker aged 87 died Monday at eight o'clock at his west of Advance home after a four week illness from pyrelysis. He was born in 1839 in Rockberry county Virginia and moved to Indiana in 1866 with marriage to Margaret Patterson on August 6 1866. Surviving are three children Mary E Sparks Thomas Walker and William. Funeral services were held Wednesday at ten with burial at Maca K of P.

Sunday School Attendance and Revival Plans at Advance Church
Attendance last Sunday was 110 with a collection of 3.20. Brother Kelley delivered an address and is expected to speak again on Sunday School work after returning. The pastor will not be present until the fourth Sunday in March and will begin a revival at one of his new appointments starting Wednesday, with engagement planned for the second Sunday in March. He gave the fifth Sunday in January in place of this Sunday.
