Attendance at Sunday School last Sunday was 129 with a collection of 3.12 and 48 Bibles reported. Willing Workers meet on the first Saturday afternoon of each month. Sunday School continues every Sunday at 10 o clock with a note to be on time next Sunday. A special effort is requested to sanitize and grease the gargaea every second and fourth Sunday of each month, both morning and evening.

Frank Cobb landed in jail after a drunken clash with Officer Evans on South Bebanon Street. Cobb resisted arrest, struck the officer, and was knocked down with a mace blow. Marshal Sandlin and others restrained him, Cobb was taken to jail and fined $5 with $15 costs stayed. Evans suffered head and facial injuries but none life threatening. Cobb once worked at Frank Jones' blacksmith shop and is a known local figure.
