The twenty fifth annual Lenawee county W C T U convention met in Rollin with Bean Creek Grange Hall as the venue. Mrs E S Ferguson was elected president. state president Mrs A Ranjamin and district president Mr Haffley attended. An 18 year old identified as Joan King confessed to involvement in six teen robberies across Michigan in three months including Big Rapids Grand Rapids Lansing Reed City Baldwin Almag and Vernon. He said plans existed to blow up Augusta and a bank in Cimas. A 45 year old man named John Leonard aided the robberies and is jailed with King.

Remick of Whitney Warner Publishing sues Charles N Dagiela known as Neil Moret claiming he wrote and sold The White Slave in violation of a contract to publish all compositions. Dagiela alleged to be in partnership with Albert Russell as Daniels Russell. Remick seeks injunction against sale or publication for two years from May 29, 1903 and to bar use of any name other than Whitney Warner on new works. Judge Rohnert issues a temporary restraining order.
