Christian Endeavor Convention Closes in Adrian
The first district Christian Endeavor convention ended Friday night in Adrian after lively sessions on business, scripture reading, and songs. Delegates returned home inspired, with Walter Robinson of Detroit leading song and Rev. W. K. Spencer of Alma delivering the afternoon address on Endeavor service and civic duty.
Closing Session At Successful Convention
The final session Friday evening drew a large crowd and proved not only interesting but helpful. After a song service led by W. C Robinson of Detroit, Rev. E. M. McMillin read scripture from Matthew and offered prayer. Officers for the first district comprising Oakland Wayne Macomb and Monroe counties were announced with Rev. J R Mitchell of Pontiac named president.

Masons Initiate Four Candidates at Adrian Lodge Meeting

Shoulder Blade Broken In Accident Injuring Ernest Carnahan
Ernest Carnahan, 11 years old, was confined at home after being knocked from his wheel Friday evening near the home of A. Wilcox. He struck his right shoulder on the pavement when a DeFoe delivery buggy turned about in front of Wilcox. The shoulder blade was broken and Dr. J. O. Johnson performed the surgical act. He is resting quietly today.
