Special Agent Jenkins of the Indian bureau reports that ringleaders of the Lower Brule agency disturbance are jailed after Indians rescued a member from jail. He says the trouble stemmed from attempts to take children from the agency boarding school in defiance of regulations.

In Louisville on Oct 23 hundreds rushed for exits after a small flame from a polyscope machine sparked panic during an afternoon performance of Tennessee's Partner at Temple Theater. Saginaw, Oct. 25. The shoe store of E. M. Bloss at 213 Genesee Ave is closed with owner E M Floss and two sons missing. Police searched the premises and creditors were alerted as investigators trace a systematic mercantile fraud. Goods described as shipped east to fictitious addresses were later disposed of. receivership was granted in Bay City with George G. Cook appointed.
Fred A. Platt was arrested in Saginaw on embezzlement charges related to the Citizens' Building & Loan affair. He posted bail of 1090 dollars for a November 2 appearance after being brought from Flint. The complaint by George H. Clark cites 1207.40 and 2004 dollars as alleged misappropriations with more complaints expected.
