Fair at St Stephens church draws large crowd of 300
The Luther hall venue hosted a two day church fair begun Tuesday at noon with nearly three hundred attendees by Tuesday evening. American rage decorated booths on the second floor and the sauerkraut supper drew many. Mrs Good and Miss Olive Reh played piano while W Koehn offered a phonograph. A fish pond and traffic added to amusements as donors supplied prizes. The crowd bought many items, from embroidery to dishes, camel figure and silver ladle. Tonight features a musical and literary program.

At Coldwater on Tuesday Michigan Cement stockholders met with Senator J. W. Helmes and R. L. Saylor present. The Campbell and Holmes factions reconciled and the reorganization plan passed. Colonial Supper at Chapel Draws Crowd and Funds
The Methodist Protestant women held an excellent colonial supper in the chapel from 5 to 7 PM. Chicken pie led the menu as the chief dish. About 400 meals were served, raising funds and paying a few bills. The event was well attended and enjoyed by attendees.
