The Presbyterian Sunday school organized Christmas boxes for home mission stations. On November 21 the Missionary society and Sunday school sent a box valued at 43.24 with over 200 items to Arroyo Toas county New Mexico for a needy Mexican school. Jack Monhegon and family were specially remembered. On November 23 the society sent a barrel of literature and Christmas cheer under CO E Parsons to Temple lumbering town for distribution.

John Anderson Plans Maple City Granite Works at Livery Site
John Anderson of 41 Butler Street has purchased the idle Billabrant property from H. Y. Hart to build a granite works named Maple City.
