Adrian high school student dies in car crash
Robert Burnett, 14, a tenth grade scholar at Adrian high school, was killed when the car he was under overturned after striking a fence on a gravel road southeast of Adrian. The driver, Peggy Maltman, 15, sustained a broken collarbone and bruises. Four other passengers were uninjured. Coroner Ed Braun said the body was removed about an hour after the accident. Funeral plans were announced for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Adrian Methodist church.
