Man Kills One, Wounds Many in Leavenworth Shooting

Michael Kelly, an unstable man living in Leavenworth, shot six people at the Robert Garrett Lumber Co. office, killing one and fatally or seriously wounding several others before officers killed him. Garrett died later. Dr McGee and others injured. The incident followed a history of mental illness and prior threats during the 1896 campaign.

Triad of Special Days at the Expo Exposition

Buffalo July 5 report notes four triad of special days at the Pan-American exposition Knights of Columbus Young Men’s Christian Association and Utah day.
