Solitary Confinement Over Unpaid Judgment

Brunkey refused payment for principle. his son Cleve Brunkey initially shared the confinement. Remarkable river rescue by Chicago man John Martin
John Martin of Chicago performed a notable river rescue at St. Joseph on July 23. While boating with George Fifield and their wives and William Conger and wife, the craft overturned. Martin righted the boat and saved four passengers one by one, with Mrs. Conger last to be saved.
