Born in Adrian township he lived in Lenawee County all his life. He moved to Rome township four years ago from Devils Lake. He married Carrie E. Cale on March 24, 1892. she died December 17, 1937. Survived by son Fide, daughter Mrs. Robert Shadbolt, granddaughter Joanne Shadbolt, sister Mrs. William Jefreils, and brothers Amos, A E, and Jerome Wilcox. Funeral at Everiss Funeral Home Sunday at 2:30 with Rev. Laurence Taylor. burial Lakeside cemetery at Devils Lake.
