Heating Plant Planned as Bonds Sold for New City Utility

Frank E. Priddy returned from Cleveland after securing a $65 000 bond issue for Citizens Light and Power. A 300 horsepower steam plant with boiler engine and dynamo will be installed on Pearl Street this fall. The heating system will serve the business district by November first, with residence areas delayed to next summer. Prices will not exceed current heating costs and aim for greater convenience.
