Six Year Old Breaks Leg After Running Into Car
Barbara Shourds six year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Donald Shourds of Rome Center suffered a broken right leg and bruises when she ran into a car on US 223 in Rome Center yesterday at 1250 pm. She crossed from south to north side after waiting for an east bound car and struck a west bound car driven by Henry Sullivan of Rochester NY. The injured girl was taken to Bixby hospital and is expected to be discharged today.
