In a board resolution the adoption calls for immediate collection of Seminary subscriptions to fund building works. Hesey Werunr of Menallen Township appointed county collector for Adams and Geltyshuce boroughs, with orders to begin enforcement at once.
A public sale on a Thursday in October offers a tract of first rate Elmeston land in Adams county partly in Conowago and Mountpleasant townships. The property features a two story log house, a mill site, limestone quarries, water, an orchard and meadows with good access from a public road, suitable for lime burning and farming. Terms require five thousand dollars in hand April first next, with balance in six yearly payments. Executors Thomas McCreary and Joseph McCreary will run the sale at 10 AM on the day, after they show the property.

Boston papers from Liverpool and London report heavy unrest in northern Ireland on July 12 and 13 with at least twenty killed in Ulster.
