Tragedy Strikes Bunch as Cloud Is Shot Dead
Sept 6 in Bunch I T a tragedy unfolds Joseph H Cloud is shot in the back of the head and killed Raulingourd and Cloud had earlier claimed a box at the depot paying charges on it. A pursuit followed and Cloud's body is found by the roadside with a bullet wound and a jug of whiskey nearby.

Robbery in Chickasaw City Shakedown Ends in Arrests
Isaac Impson arrived Monday and withdrew 100 dollars from First National Bank. Sam Driver and Bob Straughan drugged him with Indian Herb Tonic and robbed him of about 96 dollars after grabbing the pants pocket. Driver disclosed the tale, led officers to 45 dollars, and Straughan was jailed while Driver faced bond. Driver has prior penitentiary time. Straughan fled earlier but is now under guard.
