Government Movie School in Rome trains youth for film careers
The Italian government runs the Experimental Center for Movie Making in Rome to place youths in Italy’s film industry. For about 20 years the center has trained actors, directors, technicians and designers through a rigorous entrance exam and full course work from camera operation to set construction. This year about 100 students study there, with one quarter foreigners.
