Rancher Near Roff Harvests Seed From Native Meadow
Harold Davis west of Roff used a new method to combine 60 acres of native grass seed. He reports about 70 pounds of clean seed per acre, supporting soil conservation advice that a good native meadow can yield extra cash. Davis says the payoff is meaningful but such luck is rare. Stonewall Boy Scouts Bill Basset and Charles Butler received the first Eagle Scout awards in Stonewall.
